Personally, I could take or leave most of the TBC tier and PvP set designs; they weren't actively ugly (with the exception of certain Sunwell/S4 gear), but only a few designs really rocked my world, like the T5/S2 shaman set design.
Of course, that's partly because my main is an enhancement shaman, and I think putting a skirt on a melee character is just silly.
Which, of course, is why I'm not exactly overwhelmed by the designs of the endgame Wrath gear. The least they could do is make the enhance-specific set have pants instead of a skirt... it uses a different item ID anyway.
